Vintage Tweed Fender Champ Logo

The 1959 tweed Fender Champ sported Fender’s script logo on a metal tag right in the middle of the front top portion of the cabinet.

As you can see the script style is in chrome letters on a brown background. Right under the word Fender, is the location of the factory – legendary Fullerton, California. This logo style was a change from an earlier block logo style, seen below. Note the different styles of grill cloth on the 1954 Champ below, and the later model above.

I like the script logo much better than the block logo. It is one of the most recognizable brand logos in the guitar/amp biz imo. Soooooooo classic. Nice!!!
