Tweed Fender Champ – C 03143

Today for your viewing pleasure we have some photos of a vintage tweed Fender Champ amplifier kindly provided by its owner. As the title of this post indicates it is serial number C 013143. From this one piece of information, we can estimate that this amp was made in late 1956 or early 1957. The handle and cord are not original, but that is fairly common on these vintage amps.
This amp features a resellers tag in the upper right hand front corner. It reads Thorgadd Anderson Co1630 east lake street Minneapolis 7 Minn. It sold on November 29, 2009 on eBay for $810.
